Privacy Policy for Drivers<\/h1>\n

Forus Taxi O\u00dc<\/span> (Company Registration Number 12600455<\/span>) located at Harju maakond, Tallinn, Kesklinna linnaosa, Rotermanni tn 8, 10111 Tallinn<\/span>, is the controller of personal data of drivers.<\/p>\n

The term “us” or “we” refers to the owner of the Forus<\/span> app, Forus Taxi O\u00dc<\/span>, a private limited company, founded in the Republic of Estonia.<\/p>\n

1. Personal data we process<\/strong><\/p>\n

Name, e-mail, phone number, place of residence.<\/p>\n

Geolocation of drivers and driving routes.<\/p>\n

Information about vehicles (including registration number).<\/p>\n

Driver\u2019s ratings.<\/p>\n

Driver’s license, photo, profession and identity documents.<\/p>\n

Data about criminal convictions and offences. The financial data of providing transportation services is not considered as personal data, because drivers provide services in the course of economic and professional activities.<\/p>\n

2. Purposes of the processing<\/strong><\/p>\n

Forus collects and processes personal data for the purpose of registration of carriers and connecting passengers with drivers to help them move around cities more efficiently.<\/p>\n

Geolocation and driving routes are processed to analyse the geographical area and give suggestions to the drivers. \u200bIf you do not want to disclose your geolocation for passengers, you must close the Forus app or indicate in the Forus app that you are offline and currently are not providing transportation services.<\/p>\n

Driver\u2019s license, profession, identity documents and criminal convictions and offences are processed to determine the compliance with the legal requirements and the suitability of pursuing a profession as a driver.<\/p>\n

Forus app displays driver\u2019s photo, name and vehicle details for the passengers to identify the driver and vehicle.<\/p>\n

You might receive summaries from Forus, which will include your efficiency and ratings as a driver. Summary and ratings about driver are necessary to provide reliable services for passengers.<\/p>\n

3. Legal basis<\/strong><\/p>\n

Personal data is processed for the performance of the contract concluded with the driver. The prerequisite for the use of the Forus services is the processing of driver\u2019s identification and geolocation data.<\/p>\n

Personal data may be processed on the ground of legitimate interest in investigating and detecting fraudulent payments.<\/p>\n

Data regarding the \u200bcriminal convictions and offences is processed for compliance with a legal obligation.<\/p>\n

4. Recipients<\/strong><\/p>\n

Your personal data is only disclosed to passengers, whose order has been accepted by you. Passengers will see the driver’s name, vehicle, phone number, photo and geolocation data. Passengers also see the driver’s personal data in the receipt.<\/p>\n

Depending on the location of the carrier, the personal data may be disclosed to Forus Taxi O\u00dc<\/span> local \u200bsubsidiaries, representatives, affiliates, agents etc)\u200b. Processing of personal data will occur under the same conditions as established in this privacy policy.<\/p>\n

5. Security and access<\/strong><\/p>\n

Any personal data collected in the course of providing services is transferred to and stored in the data centres of Google. Which are located in the territories of Member States of the European Union. Only authorised employees of Forus Taxi O\u00dc<\/span> have access to the personal data and they may access the data only for the purpose of resolving issues associated with the use of the services (including disputes regarding transportation services).<\/p>\n

Forus Taxi O\u00dc<\/span> \u200bcan access personal data to the extent necessary to provide customer support in the respective country, see more \u200bhttps:\/\/forus.eu\/contacts<\/a><\/p>\n

Forus has implemented adequate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised, accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, misuse, disclosure or access and against all other unlawful forms of processing.<\/p>\n

6. Processing passengers personal data<\/strong><\/p>\n

Driver may not process the personal data of passengers without the permission of us. Driver may not contact any passenger or collect, record, store, grant access, use or cross-use the personal data provided by the passenger or accessible to you via the Forus app for any reason other than for the purposes of fulfilling the transportation services.<\/p>\n

7. Access, correction, retention, deletion and data portability<\/strong><\/p>\n

Personal data can be viewed in Forus Driver app or requested by contacting your local administrator (https:\/\/forus.eu\/contacts\/) or via general email hello@forus.eu.<\/p>\n

You hereby give agree that:<\/p>\n

a) Your personal data will be stored as long as it is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected including the period of having an active carrier’s account and using Forus services. Unless otherwise legally required or agreed, the data will remain stored as long as you have a Forus Driver\u2019s account. If your account will be closed the personal data will be stored for an additional 3 year period.<\/p>\n

b) Data necessary for accounting purposes shall be stored for 7 years.<\/p>\n

c) In the event of suspicions of a administrational or criminal offence, fraud or false information, the data shall be stored for 10 years.<\/p>\n

d) In the event of disputes, the data shall be retained until the claim is satisfied or the expiry date of such claims.<\/p>\n

We respond to the request for deleting and transferring personal data submitted by an email within a month and specify the period of data deletion and transfer.<\/p>\n

8. Dispute resolution<\/strong><\/p>\n
